Rev. Richard Spencer,
Pastor
Bro. Richard served as Pastor of Big Branch Baptist Church in Knott County, KY for 25 years. He has been teaching math at Fulton High School since 2011. He started serving here at Alice Bell as Interim Pastor in 2015. He was called as Pastor on April 3, 2016. Prior to this he spent 26 years teaching in two small church-schools in Kentucky. He graduated from Cumberland College with a B.S. in Mathematics and graduated from Morehead State with a M.A. in School Administration.In his free time he enjoys officiating High School Varsity Basketball and Volleyball and enjoyed the privilege of working the KHSAA State Volleyball tournament last fall. He and his wife have four children and 10 grandchildren
Rev. Greg Rester,
Minister of Music
Bro. Greg began serving his first church in 1974 as a part time Music Director while a senior in High School and has continued in similar positions in several churches while in college and seminary. After seminary he served churches in a full time capacity as Minister of Music, Music & Youth, Music & Education, and Associate Pastor. In the summer of 1998 he began serving churches as Minister of Music in a bi-vocational capacity while working full time for a computer software company. He has served in churches in Mississippi, Louisiana and Tennessee. Bro. Greg accepted the call to serve as Minister of Music at Alice Bell Baptist Church in May of 2006.Bro. Greg holds degrees from The University of Southern Mississippi and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Vickie, have three children and five grandchildren.
